Christie’s L6 is a powerful, easy-to-use multimedia projector, designed for high brightness applications with the flexibility of low-power mode operation for longer lamp life. The dual lamp system offers a choice between projecting at a powerful 5200 ANSI lumens (dual lamp mode) or more economical 2600 ANSI lumens (single lamp mode) brightness, but with an extended lamp life. The L6 is compatible with the full array of both video and data inputs and as a Christie projector, it is designed for the digital age. The L6 offers flexible digital connectivity with a wide range of optional interface cards to eliminate picture noise and signal degradation. Progressive scan video decoding with a 2:3 pull-down improves playback of moving images for sharper, defect-free video quality. Through its new high-contrast optical system, utilizing micro lens technology, the PLC-XF35 is able to achieve an outstanding contrast ratio of 1100:1. A micro lens is integrated into each individual pixel on the three LCD panels increasing light efficiency, resulting in significantly brighter images.

SANYO NEW PROGRESSIVE IC

A newly developed progressive integrated circuit provides highly improved playback of moving images. 1080 interlaced signals are converted into progressive signals while 2-3 pulldown doubles the resolution of images from DVD playback.

NETWORK CONTROL/ADMINISTRATION

An optional network board allows for simple control and management of the projector via a CAT5 network connection. The network board, which can memorize and store up to 55 PC modes, can also be used in parallel with RS-232 controllers.

REAL COLOR MANAGER

The Real Color Manager System provides white balance adjustment and gamma correction from a PC using the included image adjustment software by simply comparing the on-screen image to a printed color chart.
